William S. Soule (1836-1908) was the photographer at Fort Sill, Indian Territory, from its founding in 1869 to the end of the Indian campaigns, 1874-1875. We already have posted many of his pictures in various threads. Here is a previously unknown photograph of him recently offered at Ebay: Although the individuals in the photo are unidentified, I believe this could be the family of the Kiowa-Apache Pacer aka Peso.

I think you're right. Great photo - I have a much smaller version in my files but it was attributed to Bliss - wrongly, it seems. My version is so small you can't even make out the face of the Indian. The stripes on the tipi reminded me I'd seen it somewhere before. Here's another that may be Bliss or Soule or...

Another photo of Arapahoes at Camp Supply credited to Soule: A closer view of some of the faces: I've also seen the photo credited to W J Phillips...

Grahame´s photo has been dicussed only a couple of days ago at the Facebook site of the Prairie Material Studies group. It has been labelled at Cowan´s Auctions as a W.J. Phillips photo. www.cowanauctions.com/lot/photograph-of-a-group-of-officers-and-indians-at-camp-supply-indian-territory-1869-52957The identifications above are hard to read. I tried to improve on the IDs below. Note that Cowan´s Auctions stated one officer in the picture is Owen Hale of the 7th Cavalry. He is rather Lt. Joseph Hale of the U.S. 3rd infantry. There are still some open questions, for example: Who are the English travellers? Can we identify the Arapahoe men?

Soule (and a lot of other contemporary professional photographers) sometimes copied the photos of other photographers.

I´ve saved the photo as "Inches", Cheyenne. Don´t know if the name is accurate.

I saw him labelled as an Arapaho scout, but I'm sure the uniform top is just an indication of how popular they were among Southern Plains warriors during this period.

At least the last photo is most likely a Soule photo. There are more pictures from that series, taken in front of a log house, doorway and windows visible in the back.
Big Horse, a Cheyenne, was photographed later by other photographers, so his identity is assured.

Here are all the others I can find Arapaho or Cheyenne...? Soule - see Kingsley and Dietmar's comments above This one supposedly shows Little Raven's sons; though I recall we had a debate about this, I'm not sure what conclusion we came to. The one on the right is Heap of Bears? Not the same backdrop, but another Soule (?) showing Little Raven and his sons. The man in the centre looks like the man at the left in the photo above Another Soule. This is the one whose photo is labelled 'Little Raven' in the late 1880s-1890s
