The book in my opinion is not historically correct and it is nothing but an invention by the Clown's family. Everybody knows Crazy Horse’s uncle was Little Hawk, who was Old Crazy Horse’s brother. According to Little Hawk’s descendants, Doug Bissonette and family, Iron Cedar Woman was not related to Crazy Horse whatsoever and this is also historically proven. Iron Cedar Woman was the daughter of Woman Breast. Old Crazy Horse and Woman Breast were not the same person as the Clown's family claims. The Clown family claims, seven generations later, that they are Crazy Horse’s relative/family based solemnly on the fictional book of William Bordeaux” Custer’s Conqueror”. I have been reading and studying Lakota History for 55 years now and the Bordeaux book is the most historical incorrect book ever written. The story that Iron Cedar Woman is Crazy Horse's younger sister is incorrect and embellished as Doug Bissonette and family claim. Both families are fighting in court today for Crazy Horse's estates and it is a shame it came down to this when a family, the Clowns family, never known before, never mentioned in any historical book and/or historical documents and data before, all of the sudden claim they are Crazy Horse’s family because of an embellished and historically incorrect book. The Clown's family oral history, differs from the Oglala family oral history which had been already established by most historians and writers and by eye witnesses such as He Dog and many others who rode and fought with Crazy Horse. I rather stick with an oral history known to the world for the last 7 generations from day one, that an Oral History that just came out 7 generations later out no where that is historically incorrect. Woman Breast and Old Man Crazy Horse were not the same person. It is all about money. Now the Clowns during the presentation of their book, sell a Crazy Horse's hat, which hasprinted on it the fake Crazy Horse sketch, the same sketch who was copied from top to bottom from the Crazy in the Lodge photograph.
