Hello, so I'm very interested in my Native American ancestors. I know my Native American ancestors were Cherokees, and some were Sioux. i learned that I have a great great grandmother named Alice Tabor. Her maiden name was Bear. I did some research on her, and I found some images of "Alice Lone Bear" who was part of the Sioux tribe. Does anyone possibly know more about this "Alice lone Bear"? If i'm related to her, I would like to know more about her. Thank you (:

Chelsea, The information I have on Alice Lone Bear - b. 1870 d. Sept. 8, 1934 - states; * Alice Lone Bear was the daughter of Oliver Lone Bear and wife, Plenty Brothers. (Therefore, Lone Bear was probably her maiden name.) * Alice was married 1st to a "Garcia" and Alice's 2nd marriage was to a "Holy Eagle".
Hope this is of some help.

Alice Lone Bear was a student in Carlisle Indian School. I read that she married a Mexican later, who might be "Garcia".
