I have noticed that all of the Census listed above use the spelling for Womans Back just as, I posted it here in this thread. There is no ( ' ) between the "n" and the "s" in his first name. Which, is a mistake that I did while, trying to find information on him.
I am not for sure but, I think Jessie and Patrick Bitters were step-children (in the English sense)to Womans Back. They may have been Lizzie's children from a previous marriage (?) or, perhaps Womans Back and Lizzie adopted them.
