My husband finally got the information he's been wanting for the longest time! He's been told he was part indian since he was a teenager but no one ever said What tribe, etc. He talked to his uncle last night who found the family bible! It had the information we've been seeking. Well some of it. I found a lot more fairly easy online. His great grandfathers name was Rudolph Asewaynah Fisher other spelling was Fischer. He was a captive of the Comanches but later went back to the Comanche's. To my understanding he married a Comanche woman (I'm cheating and copying and pasting info I found from other genealogy sites)
Tisseychauer TASATSANA . Can anyone tell me anymore information?? It would be great if there was photo's of some of these family member's. The information I have found so far has been fascinating!!! I'm exhausted! I have found so much information alrea.dy but I want as much as I can get. census record's allotment's, documents, photo's. W=How do I go about getting birth and death records on his family? I don't know how far back birth certificates go back. ANYTHING! How much indian Blood would my husband have in him? Does anyone know the meaning of Asewaynah? I love genealogy and I love it when I'm on a hot trail!
Thank you!

In the 1917 census, Mary's child Augusta Bosin Jr was reported as aSon but Female. With the female form of the name, it appeared thatthis was a daughter. The conflicting designations made it uncertainwhich of those designations was correct. In the 1920 census, the twodsignations are consistent to identify the child as a Male, eventhough the name is Augusta. Mary's white husband is not inclyuded inthis family list. But we see another child has been born since the1917 census.
