I have a photo of three individuals that I need some identification help with. I'm sorry the digital version here is so small. I believe the man on the left is Two Guns White Calf. Two names are written on the back of the photo: Owen Heavy Breast (on the right), and Chief One Pipe (in the middle). I'm not 100% sure that Chief One Pipe is the name, but I'm pretty sure. I haven't been able to find a photo of him for comparison. I'd appreciate any information -- ID, tribe, history, etc., on any of the individuals pictured. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! How can you tell? Their clothing? What should I look for?

Hairstyle and clothing combination would point towards Blackfoot. There's a bit about the event here: contentdm.lib.muohio.edu/cdm/ref/collection/snyder/id/2969He is usually said to be a Siksika Blackfoot and one of the inspirations behind the image of the Indian head on the buffalo nickel; however, according to the Blackfoot Digital Library site, he was a Pikuni. This photo was clearly taken at the same time:

Thanks. I realized that hairstyle and dress would help to identify the tribe after I sent my last comment. (oops) Oh - thanks for the link. That was good info!
Do you know anything about One Pipe?

Was Owen Heavy Breast a medicine man? Do you - or anyone - know anything about One Pipe?
Thanks
