Hello, I have a very nice beaded American Indian pipe bag I would like to find out about. I was told it is from the 1900's. It might be Lakota. I wonder if anyone knows about it and what the symbols stand for? I tried to upload photos but I guess the forum is full so I'm attaching a link to a photobucket folder with photos of it. It is about 6 3/4" wide and 14 1/2" not including the 10" of fringe. I also did not include the handle. The beadwork is very intricate and well done. It is sewn with thread and lined with a satin/silk floral fabric. s247.photobucket.com/user/goldrushpawn/slideshow/9-13-13%20Beaded%20Indian%20bagThank you for any help you may offer. mtgoldrush
