I´ve googled this portrait a couple of days ago, but thought he is just another High Bear. I didn´t realized he is the same man until you posted the photos together. Thanks!

Could someone please confirm for me which photo is the Mnicoujou as I'd like to forward it to his family on Cheyenne River. According to them the correct translation of his name is Holy (or Sacred) High Bear, another name that was shortened when recorded.

btw, if the relatives have any photos and/or bio on him that they are willing to give away, please post them in here. And of course if you come up with the answer that should ewe list hima as Oglala or Miniconjou I would be MORE THAN happy to hear about it too .
