thanks for your information. But what does it mean with regard to
Is Red Spear the widow or the grand-daughter / grand-son? According to the newspaper article Red Spear was a 16 year old girl.

this red spear was born in 1822 a widow in 1886 (widower in 1887-8)and had a grandson Old Horses
there is no other Red Spear in any census 1885-1940 (her name in 1884 and different name in 1885-6-7-8
