The third part of the authorized biography of Crazy Horse covers The Battle of the Little Bighorn and is a very worthwhile addition to the first two DVD'S. It is a little slow at times and occasionally slightly repetitious, but is neverthless a must have for anyone interested in Crazy Horse and the Battle.

the video i have is part two. it is good but i still don't understand all these people saying they are a direct descendent of Crazy Horse.
CH had one child. She died. End of story.
there is a joke on the rez .... ''Everyone is related to Crazy Horse. We are all Crazy Horse"
the term ''Grandpa'' on the rez is so broad. Most elders are called Grandpa out of respect. The Tunkashilas (ancestors/spirits) literally means ''Grandfathers"
We are all related.

I have watched all three parts. I found the first two the most interesting. Whilst I may not necessarily agree with everything in the films, they are worth watching to get a different view of things. Part three does not really have much new in it.

I think there is some new in it. Just think of the visions of Crazy Horse he craved into Deer Medicine Rock. I have never seen or read about it before.

Good point, Dietmar. Most of part three is about the LBH however and it's fairly routine. It's still worth seeing though.

In fact, HunkPapa summed it up well at the beginning of this thread. I would still recommend all three DVDs.

Just bought the first three instalments and watched them one after the other. The most interesting facts for me relate to the family tree other than that nothing else really impressed. I will purchase the fourth to complete the set. Whilst it is interesting and comes from a direct family perspective and one should expect slightly partisan views I think that it was very self serving. Does anyone else share this view?

I don´t ...and I´m not sure what you mean by "self serving"?
