Yesterday was a very special day. Normally we are an internet community whose members are widespread all over the world. So we only communicate “online” and sometimes we don´t even know each other´s faces.
Since months our Dutch members Jeroen and Henri present a nice exposition of their works of paintings and Indian craft replicas at the Cactus Oase in Ruurlo, a small city in the Netherlands. (see: www.cactusoase.nl/2009/exposities.htm )
On Saturday I had the opportunity to drive to Ruurlo to meet Henri and Jeroen there. Gregor from Münster, Germany, also went along. So we had a little American-Tribes.com “member meeting”.
Moreover, we had the pleasure to meet Murray Small Legs, a Piegan Blackfoot artist who now lives in Potsdam, Germany, and who was a special guest at the Cactus Oase that day.
As they told me, Jeroen and Henri plan to exhibit again in Ruurlo next year, so everyone interested should keep that in mind.
Thank you for your hospitality! See you next time. Dietmar

Thank you Dietmar! It was a pleasure finally meeting you, and Gregor! Unfortunately, we had not enough time to talk some more, but, like you said, we will make up for that some time soon... my best, Jeroen
p.s. we will continue to show our art at the Cactus Oase next year, I'll keep you posted on the data...
