Hi all: Just registered so I am a newbie and not up on what has been written here previously. But it is obvious there are a lot of knowledgeable people here with lots of information and fantastic pictures. (Where do you get them all?)
In any case, many years ago I read Helge Ingstad´s book "The Apache Indians. Searching for the missing Tribe" published in Swedish 1946 and in Norwegian 1939, translated and published in English 2007. He visited the White Mountain reservation in the mid-30´s and got information that there were still some Apaches living and also raiding in the Sierra Madres of northern Mexico. He started an expedition with the old man Yahnozah, ex-member of one of Geronimo´s bands, trying to find them. They never did find them, but they were joined by a Yaqui man, Mora, who had killed a number of them as late as 1932. (The Apaches were at this time still "fair game" in Mexico and shot on sight if found).
I met Ingstad by chance in 1977 in Calgary, AB, Canada, when he was lecturing on his years with the Chippewayan. We had a nice chat and he was very surprised to hear that I had read and took an interest in his experience with the Apache.
I imagine that there are several people out there with knowledge of the little band of Chiricauas, who did not sign any treaty and did not return to the US. I would be very happy to see any information that you may wish to share about the Apaches Broncos. Thank you.

Welcome here, Cheval de Fer or Tashunke Maza.
For the History of the last free Chiricahuas look at Spririts of the Sierra Madre. You will have some answers.
