I'm trying to repost as many of the Cronau images as I can find. Bear with me, because some of them are on an old computer and there may be others I don't have. I came across this one the other day. It's a different view of Black Bear - I assume the same man posted above but said to be Miniconjou: This one is, I suspect, done rather later than the Black Bear drawing. I'm sure I've seen it before, so I suspect it's been worked up from a photograph. I've seen a Thomas Mails version of this man, identified as Painted Horse, though it doesn't look like the photos of Painted Horse I'm familiar with: Someone put me out of my misery and tell me who it is... Another Sinte drawing collected by Cronau:

Hi Grahame, the second picture is Crazy Bear, but the drawing was made by a modern artist, done from a Rinehart photo. This is One Bull by Cronau:

There are many more of Cronau´s drawings in the book 'IN "WILDEN WESTEN"', but only a few more of them are portraits. I´ll try to scan some of them later...

Thanks. I thought we had them all until I came across the second image of Black Bear, so there may be more out there.
