So far I have been unable to positively identify this Apache warrior. Judging from his appearance he was a prominent man. Then I found an alternative this photo, probably also by Randall, with the caption "Chiricahua Apache prince" so he was likely a son of one of the prominent chiefs. Does anybody know more about this warrior?

Naiches2, I think the caption also reads Apache Chiricahua prince, rather than praise, but I agree that the handwriting is terrible! I once read that many early white settlers considered the families of Mangas Coloradas and Cochise to be Apache royalty, and another photo, of Naiche's daughter, is labeled Apache princess (in the same handwriting) so chances are this man may somehow be related to Cochise, Mangas and Naiche.
