In his new book, Sweeney says that Bacutla was one of Kaatenay's brothers... My guess is that Bacutla is an alternative spelling of Bay kath lay... He is described as a leader of a small band that remained at San Carlos in the 1885 flight (when his brother was doing hard time in Alcatraz). Also, there is a resemblance in the Becalthey portrait posted here with the known portraits of Kaateney... Only point is, we have him identified as Chokonen (see Naiches's post of the bands at San Carlos during that period) while being Kaateney's brother would obviously make him Chihenne (as stated by Sweeney)... Please, your thoughts on this...
