All,
There is a link page at the website. We already have a few links on it, but there is room enough for some more.
The links on that page should be essential for our work here, like Smithsonian, Denver Public Library for example. If you like, please name your most important links.
All other links should only be recommended here at the message board.
Thanks Dietmar

Whew, this is quite a list! Great links, thanks Grahame. Let us see what others will recommend and I will pick some from your list for the website page.

If one doesn't have broadband (me), it's difficult to browse through all those links to investigate what they offer.

Grahame,
The Colin Taylor article (http://www.brandonu.ca/Library/cjns/7.2/taylor.pdf) is really interesting. Do you have any more like that?

clw, I think Dietmar is planning to go through them and select some for inclusion on our Links page. He's in Nuremburg for the next couple of weeks but may be able to check in here occasionally. He'll try to make it easier on you!

All, Denver Public Library ... Speaking of the Denver Public Library photographic archives, I haven't been able to go further than the search page history.denverlibrary.org/images/in the last two days. Anyone experiencing the same problem?

If one doesn't have broadband (me), it's difficult to browse through all those links to investigate what they offer. Even with broadband, I think a "laundry list" of sites is overwhelming and discourages browsing. I really appreciate the lists and want to post them to the "Links" page, but I would like to continue to post a line or two about what makes each site worth a visit. (See the Links page for examples.) Can I get a volunteer or two??? PLEASE! ;D

Hi Diane,
I can start with the links I'm more familiar with and send you a first list by the end of this week - will this be OK?
