Not sure if anyone is still interested in this subject, but I'm finishing up a manuscript (will self-publish) on Dixon and his expeditions. I've researched this subject since 2010 and visited many places to gather material for the manuscript. I'm nearly the end of this "labor of passion" but would welcome an opportunity to speak with anyone who could fill in a few spaces. In particular, I'm interested in making contact with any tribe or group that still have a Wanamaker Flag, or any historical information about the expedition's visit to their reservation/school. By the way, what I've found out and have written about is that the document was not signed by 900 Chiefs and the number of tribes/bands visited was not 169 or 189, rather it was 207. This is only one of many in accuracies involving this very interesting and historical venture that is lost in history. Again, if anyone has something they feel may be useful please contact me so we can discuss it. I hope to get this book out in 2016 (I wanted to get it published in 2013, but could not be done)
