I don't know who the photographer is, but the man and son are dressed very similar to the Ute tribe. In fact, the man looks alot like the following: Chu - Ute - 1869 In addition, the beadwork design on the shoulder strap of his bandolier bag is very common among the Ute. The bandolier certainly looks like the Ute examples, although the name is Dakota. I wonder if the collection details are correct!
