This is not a "Group Photo" but I didn't know where else to post. This image is flying around facebook today as "Execution of a Warrior, Minot, ND, 1890." At the bottom I read Fort Stevenson, which was by the Fort Berthold rez. Abandoned by the military in 1883. Thousands and thousands of people on facebook think this is a true caption, though, for many reasons, it is clearly not. Those are not U.S. army soldiers. That is not a "warrior." The only thing that comes up from a Google Images search is this picture on pinterest with the caption "Execution of a Warrior." Do any of you have any information? Attachments:

Execution of a photographer too, I suspect...
The figures at the left look like Indian kids - schoolkids wearing ill-fitting clothing, maybe.

Hah, hah! Yes, that, too!
And, yes, certainly looks like boarding school kids. I think the guys with rifles might be Indian as well. Sure wish that photographer's name wasn't cropped off!
