In his essay The Crow Indians, Robert Lowie reports the name of several Apsalooka warrior societies. I wonder if the list is complete...
1 Lumpwood or Knobbed Sticks society, Mara'xi'ce
2. Foxes or Kit-foxes, I'axuxke
3. Big Dogs , Micgy-isā'ate a society already extinct by 1910
4. Muddy Hands, I'ctse cipī'a, melt with the Foxes around 1875
5. Hammer Owners, Bū'ptsake
6. Bull Owners, Tsī'rukape, extinct by 1875
7. Hot Dance society, Bātawe' disu'a, a society organized on the Hidatsa model
8. Crazy Dogs or Long Crazy Dogs society, Mi'cgye warā'axe or Mi'cgye warā'axe ha'tskite
Lowie gives also the names of club long extinct:
1. Raven Owners, Pē'ritsake, extincty by 1840s
2. Little Dogs, Micgyi'ate, later called Muddy Mouths, Ī'i cipi'a, which in time melt with the Crazy Dogs

The most famous and distinctive feature of the first two societies, the Lumpwood and the Foxes, was the yearly mutual wife-kidnapping, starting in spring and went on for about a fortnight.
