Were there ever inter tribal conflicts amongst Mexico’s Native American groups (besides the Mayans and Aztecs)? I am especially interested in such conflicts that happened AFTER the Spanish Colonial period. Brian Ghilliotti

Yes, there were. E.g. in the northern part of Mexico there were traditional enmities between Tarahumaras and Tepehuanes, between Yaquis and Mayos, or between Tarahumaras and Opatas.
