Looking for any family information on Paul Eagle Star a Brule Lakota Indian who died in England in 1891 while touring with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. Paul Eagle Star suffered a compound fracture and dislocation his ankle when he fell under his horse in the opening performance at Sheffield, England. The injury became infected with Tetanus and his leg had to be amputated. Paul Eagle Star was not able to survive the shock to this injury and died 24 August 1891 in the Sheffield Infirmary - George C. Crager was a Lakota Interpreter and was with Paul Eagle Star at the time of his death. This event has been documented on several internet sites besides on page 157 of the book Hostiles The Lakota Ghost Dance & Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show by Sam A. Maddra I would appreciate any information or a push in the right direction of where to look ! Thanking you in advance Annie
