Hello,
I am Adopted and know all most all of my biological family i was adopted as an adult. Anyway My Great Aunt told Me That the Daughter of Chief Cochise married a fur trader and was my Grandmother down the line some how? my Great Grandfathers name was Russell Jannings but know one really knows were he was born only that he died in Tennessee. and he was at Least Half Indian. He kept it very quiet. I never knew him these are just the things Ive been told over the years. I think It would be a great honer to be related to these people. and would Love to know if you can help that would be awesome. Thank you for you re Time Elizabeth

1. there no chiefs amongst the NDE the term is Nantan. 2. Any kin of Cochise is in either in okla or new mexcio. 3. No daughter of the nantan ever married a whiteeye and my sources are Naiches great grand kids thus aint trying to be mean or want to say anything but this is the truth to the best of my POV. I haven't the "right" to speak for the Naiche family on such matters.......is not my place to do so...., but Cuz, what "you" say is true....and what "you" speak of is the truth without a dought! Beth....not saying "your mistaken" or "don't know what your talking about" at all, don't get me wrong....you "KNOW" only that which was told to you.....problem is....it just doesn't match-up. Do you by chance have any photo's of these folks you speak of? If so....would be glad to take a look at them....could be a big help! I want to see their hands and fingers! ;)Mithlo ;D
