Do these photos show the same man, Little Dog, a Brule? The second is by Curtis, dated 1907. Anyone know anything bout the first or about Little Dog himself?

I already have seen the first image at the start of this thread. Was him a famous chief? Can anyone to add informations?

I don´t believe the man in the family photo is the same as the Little Dog in Grahame´s first post. He looks different. It is a D.F. Barry photo, so it is more likely a Standing Rock Sioux. There are at least 4 Little Dogs in the 1885 records at Standing Rock, two Hunkpapas in Cross Bear´s and Belly Fat´s bands, and two Lower Yanktonais in Two Bears´and Takes the Wood´s bands.
I´ll look for the Brule Little Dog...
