Washington conference 1876

Hallo everyone, my deep respect to you all. I'm novice on that forum and i'm glad to have this great opportunity to be here.
I'm a woman from Moscow, Russia, so please be kind to me regarding my English.
I love my Apaches friends' faces. And besides the portrets it is very interesting to me, those teeny little details which can tell you so much about the culture, they can practically get you into the event on the photo, it seems like you can share the people's emotional state there.

Dear Apacherias! Could you please help me with some information about the Conference of 1876. All I could find on internet is that it was Chatto who headed a delegation for this conference, Taza joined them two months later but died of pneumonia shortly after that on September 26.
It is all i know unfortunately. I would be very appreciate if you cou give me links where i can find more information about this event especially all what happened with the delegation.

Chatto headed Delegation in 1886, and Taza was in Washington in 1876.
