Frank from franksrealm.com sent me to you because of a question I asked him.
Did you ever find out anything about Harlan Gannon 'Little Snake'.? My husband's g-g-grandfather was John Harlan Gannon who lived in Fontanelle, NE in 1870 & 1880, according to the Census. John Harlan died in 1881, but family, including a son named Harlan Gannon, was still there in 1885. Fontanelle was part of the Omaha tribal land as I understand it . My Harlan was born in Fontanelle in 1870, so would be about the right age for "Little Snake" in the picture by Reinhart in 1898. In another place Harlan Gannon was listed as an interpreter along with the picture. Can you give me any information about him?
